Creative Europe Desk - Culture Office - partner search database

1.  Creative Europe Desk Italy - Culture Office - Partner Search database: aims and objectives. 
This partner search database aims at supporting project coordinators and partners in the context of the Creative Europe Programme - Culture Subprogramme, based on the Regulation (EU) No 1295/2013 OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND OF THE COUNCIL establishing the Creative Europe Programme (2014 to 2020) and repealing Decisions No 1718/2006/EC, No 1855/2006/EC and No 1041/2009/EC of 11 December 2013. This partner search database is made available on this web page in order to offer an online electronic registration and online search functionality of partners. If you are looking for project partners in your field of expertise, or if you want to promote your company at European level, you can use the public partner search tool on our website. You can view all the necessary contact information (personal and organisational), and the partner information (project information).

2. What personal information do we collect, for what purpose and through which technical means?
As this PSD collects and further processes personal data, Regulation (EC) 45/2001, of the European Parliament and of the Council of 18 December 2000 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data by the Community institutions and bodies and on the free movement of such data, is applicable.
The personal data collected and further processed are: Name*, Last Name*, company* , Legal Entity*, E-mail address* (functional e-mail address of organisation recommended), Nationality*, *, Organisation phone number*, Organization website *Organisation description*, and all the fields related to the project description. The purpose of the collection of personal data for the Creative Europe Desk Italy is to enable interested parties to search for potential partners and to promote their company.
We may use your personal information to:

  • enable your use of certain services available on the PSD;
  • send you email notifications which you have specifically requested;
  • produce statistical information about our users - but this information will not be used to identify any individual user;
  • deal with enquiries and complaints made by or about you relating to the website
  • administer the website;
  • improve your browsing experience by personalising the website.

Data of users registering for the Partners Service and personal data in the project records and research results are also collected to enable users to take up contact with them for possible co-operation or use of the results.
This personal information shall be used only to contact them for matters related to their function. Therefore, processing the information in a way incompatible with this purpose (such as further transmission, further publication, direct marketing and requests for information that differ from the matters indicated) is illegal and liable to consequences according to applicable legislation.

3. How can you verify, modify or delete your information?
In case you want to verify which personal data is stored on your behalf by the responsible controller, have it modified respectively corrected, or deleted, you may make this change yourself. The password you chose during registering will allow you to log in to the system and update your personal information or delete your registration.Special attention is drawn to the consequences of a delete request, in which case any trace to be able to contact you will be lost.

4. How long do we keep your data?
Your personal data are kept for the duration of the Creative Europe Programme 2014-2020.

5.To whom are your data disclosed?
The collected data will be treated confidentially and used only by the relevant teams of the Creative Europe Desk Italy.
If you register for the Partners Service, your data will be visible for the other users who can use them to contact you.
We will not share your personal data with third parties for direct marketing purposes and we have no commercial interests in your data.

6. How can you access your data, check their accuracy and, if needed, correct them?
You have the right to obtain a copy of any personal information that we hold about you, to correct or update this information.
You can request to delete your registration data if there are no outstanding issues. By deleting your data, you terminate any related services and access rights.

7. What do we do to avoid misuse or unauthorised access?
We maintain physical, electronic and managerial procedures to protect and prevent unauthorised access to your data and ensure it is used correctly.
Members of our staff who have access to personal data are required to protect it in a manner consistent with this Privacy Statement.
Although we cannot guarantee the security of data sent over the internet services.
You are responsible for keeping your password and user details confidential. We will not ask you for your password (except when you log in to the website).

8. What is considered unacceptable behaviour?
In certain circumstances, users may contribute further information about themselves and other users. CORDIS may remove this information if it is considered to be contrary to the interests of the service or a user.
A non-exhaustive list of unacceptable content includes: obviously commercial promotion, defamatory or offensive comments, copyright breaches.
Abuse can be reported directly within the service or by contacting the Creative Europe Desk- Help Desk. We will endeavour to delete any unacceptable content as soon as possible.

9. Whom to contact if you have questions or complaints?
If you wish to access or correct your personal information please contact the controller, who is responsible for processing these data, at the PSD help-desk.
